The skeleton of this Bryde's Whale (Balaenoptera brydei) or Rorcual Tropical in Spanish forms part of a great free-for-all open-air museum initiative by the Fuerteventura Local Government (Cabildo de Fuerteventura) that aims to exhibit unique whale skeleton all over the island on the so called "Cetacean Pathway" or Senda de los Cetaceos in Spanish.A great excuse to travel all over the island ticking them off your list admiring the professionally cleaned and articulated skeletons on the different coastal spots of this gorgeous island.About the Cetacean Pathway or Senda de los Cetceos in Spanish.I have compiled (November 2017) the whole list of skeletons and where to find them below if you were so adventurous as to wanting to see them all.They are ordered with Puerto Rosario as starting point driving down on the Easter coast of the island to come up on the Western side.All the skeletons are part of the free-for-all open-air museum initiative by the Fuerteventura Local Government.I believe There is a skeleton of a Pilot Whale on the Isla de los Lobos off El Corralejo.Bryde's Whale (Balaenoptera brydei) or Rorcual Tropical in Spanish.
